Physical and Spiritual nourishment.....

It seems like you picked up some good spanish down there, and i saw a
picture of you on the playa, are you balding? :) You dont have to
answer that question, we all know its just disappearing like the
morning fog.. If i ever bald there will be a lovely scar right in the
middle of my head and people will call me harry potter the rest of my
life. Just one of those precious gifts that dear old Argentina has
given me. The week was well and fast. Just getting to know people all
over again and starting a new in a new place. Saying goodbye to the
people back in my old area was tough and tears were shed but we
continue on and keep fighting for the Lord. My new comp is an english
and spanish speaking Chileno, he is 25 years old and has done 5 years
of law school. He likes talking about food, alot... So when we dont
talk about food or the Gospel we dont talk at all but its all good,
thats all one needs to survive right? Physical and Spiritual
nurishment.. My area is spelled Guaymallén, i would love to see how
you would try pronouncing the names of the places ive been haha. Stay
safe and keep up the good work in AK. Love ya dad.

Im happy the letter got to you, the little times that ive sent things
out into the mail world they have never gotten to where i intended..
So i got my new comp, he is from Chile, speaks good english, and the
area is pretty cool. My first day in this area i set foot in a flippin
Walmart! It was the first time i had stepped in one for 16 months.. I
had a reverse culture shock there of a great taste of America :) it
was just so great i was loving every second. The area is cool we are
trying our best to keep these places alive and bring more people to
the kingdom of God. Love ya mom!

The Sun Was Being a Jerk....

Wow it really sounds like you have an awesome time traveling and a
bunch of extra money without me and cache sucking out all your food and
stuff ;) nah im sure fischer can eat for the two of us out here ;)

Hey,
So i am being transfered to another area called Guymallén, its
about an hour bus ride from where i am right now so its just right
there. The week was good, it got pretty hot here the last few days, im
not sure exactly what it was but the sun was being a jerk and it was
close to 100 or more. I dont really like being transfered from a place
after i have come so close to all the people here, members and
investigators all the same, it so crazy how i grow so close to these
people! It just dont make no sense, but i love it! I think that it is
so cool you got to take a break from life and venture to the lands of
fun things and relaxing. We went around and bought some things today
from this country, i ended up just getting some shades and shorts.
Thats all i got, i hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation in march!

Only in Argentina.....

Hello Mother,
You are
exatcly right, our missions are the perfect opposites. But that is
where he is supposed to be and i know this is where i am suppossed to
be too, that is that. I´ll have to put the gma Hardy saying into
affect asap. My week was good. Nothing was super epic or extraordinary
in my life this past 7 days of my life. There was one day that we
ended up walking to the sun and back! It at least seemed that way from
the dumb heat that is going on outside. But we really walked
everywhere that day, Friday i think it was. I´m betting it was close
to 15 miles easy. I started the day with no holes in my socks and
ended with both my socks disinegrating right from underneath my toes.
I had a great time popping what seemed like a bottomless blister which
produced enough liquid to rival the spring of water that runs out of
the mountain on the way to homer and seward. I witnessed the power of
fasting this weekend, its sweet action tripled. On the long walk home
that one day we were walking alongside a huge field of grapes and saw
in the distance a dark purple huew outlining the mountains. We had to
stop from pure amazement when we saw the stars about us and what
looked like flickering stars above the grape field. They were
fireflies! The whole setting was pure beautiful. Only in Argentina :)

Holy vaca they are already planning the talks for when i talk! That is
not cool it is way far away i still have a world full of ages left in
my mission! But for real, its going by too fast. This week was really full of trials and
disapointment, but for some crazy reason i am still very happy, it
kind of freaks me out. Speaking of Cache being over 10 wards there, i
think he has more leadership people in his area than i do as active
members here in my branch.. One day this place will be as blossoming
as the Mormon Stuffed capital of Salt Lake City, but until that day i
am going to keep building the foundations for the church here in
Mendoza. I learned this week that we really need to through our whole
life being into this work because that is what the Lord asks of us and that
is what He needs. Just another eye opener for me that we can always
try harder and do better. Stay being brilliant dad, dont lose your
light.
